| for all applications. Any part number variations you come across in your research should be mainly due to minor differences in the basket design. I remember working on an ECN to commonize the basket with home products (to reduce redundant part numbers/applications) about 6 or 7 years ago - so don't let that throw you off in your research. Check the TS's to be certain the specs are the same and that should allow you to verify virtually all 4.5" applications are interchangeable. The amps as you know, are unique to each vehicle application so there won't be much luck in the way of swapping an amp from a Maxima to a Z or vice versa. Also, double check B's assertion that the headunits are interchangeable between Maximas, Pathfinders, Z's, etc. I thought legend had it that the H/U's had specific volume curves and other specs that were specific to each vehicle (check with a couple of the older systems engineers who have been around for ages - I think they can confirm this as fact or fiction). Unless Bernie is seeing a common H/U part number (which may be the case), I think there are differences that may or may not be noticeable to the end user. Dave
